Stabilizers
Our oil and gas stabilizers are all integral blade, one-piece bodies, built from either 4145M carbon steel or high-quality domestic or European non-magnetic steel forgings.
Integral blade stabilizers are available with either straight or spiral blade orientation with "directional friendly" blade profiles consisting of reduced crown length and long, gradual tapers from the crown to the neck. This configuration provides a high TFA and smooth sliding tendencies while reducing vibration and torque.
Also available are non-rotating stabilizers utilizing 4145M/4140H carbon steel mandrels with polyurethane stabilizer sleeves. These sleeves are molded over a steel insert and have a shore hardness of 95A.
